Walk-in Details:
Applications are invited from the eligible candidates to appear the Walk-in-Interview for the following temporary teaching posts on contractual basis in the Department of Education for Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP). The Walk-in Interview will be held in the Office of the P.G. Council, Sambalpur University from 13.10.2025 to 15.10.2025. The tenure of the post is initially for one year and may be extended up to 05 years on year to year basis with one day break subject to satisfactory performance. In no circumstances the appointed contractual teachers shall claim for regular teaching posts and for this they have to give an undertaking on Non-Judicial stamp paper. For all purpose they shall be abided by Self-financing Guidelines of the University.

B. Assistant Professor -in Liberal Discipline and Pedagogy: (i) Post-Graduate degree in Social Sciences (History or Geography or Political Science or Economics) or Languages (English, MIL, Hindi, Sanskrit or Modern Indian Languages or Classical Languages) with minimum fifty-five percent marks or its equivalent grade. (ii) B.Ed. degree with minimum fifty-five percent marks or equivalent grade. (ii) National Eligibility Test or State Level Eligibility Test or Doctor of Philosophy in Education or in the concerned subject as prescribed by the University Grants Commission for these categories of posts. Desirable: (i) M.Ed. or M.Ed. with Specialisation (ii) Ph. D in Education.
C. Assistant Professor in Educational Studies: (i) Postgraduate degree in Education (M.Ed.) with minimum fifty-five percent marks or equivalent grade (ii) With National Eligibility Test or State Level Eligibility Test or Doctor of Philosophy in Education or any other qualification prescribed by University Grants Commission for these categories of posts. Desirable: (i) Master’s degree in Psychology or Philosophy or Sociology or their allied subjects.
D. Specialised Courses: Assistant Professor in Physical Education: (i) Master of Physical Education (M.P. Ed.) with minimum fifty-five percent marks or its equivalent grade Assistant Professor in Art Education: (i) Postgraduate degree in Performing or Visual Arts with minimum fifty-five percent marks or its equivalent grade.
E. Assistant Professor in Career Guidance & Counseling: (i) Postgraduate degree in Education (M.A./ M.Ed.) / Post Graduate Degree in Psychology with Career Guidance & Counseling as specialization with minimum fifty-five percent marks or equivalent grade.
Documents Required at the time of Interview:
The candidates are requested to submit the following documents one hour before the Walk-in Interview for necessary verification of their testimonials: (i) Application for the post and bio-data printed in plain paper. (ii) Original certificates and mark sheets of all examinations passed with one set of attested photocopies and teaching experience certificate (if any). (i!i) Research Publications, (if any). (iv) Two passport size color photographs. (v) A Demand Draft of Rs.1,000/- payable in favor of the Chairman, P.G. Council, Sambalpur University payable at S.B.I., Jyoti Vihar.
